The deadline for application for merit based scholarships is November 1st!!!
A complete application includes:
- Online application
- students should be ready to upload residency documentation with their application for admission if claiming FL residency.
- $30 non-refundable application fee
- official High School transcripts
- official submission of SAT or ACT score
Once admitted, students who qualify will receive an invitation to apply directly for a merit scholarship by the link issued in their invitation. Students must submit their completed scholarship application and supporting documents (letters of recommendation and essay) no later than November 15 in order to be considered. All documents can be submitted via the online scholarship application.
It is the responsibility of the student to ensure a completed application, fee or fee waiver, residency, official high school transcript and SAT or ACT scores arrive prior to November 1. Applications, transcripts and test scores received after November 1 will not be considered for scholarship eligibility. We are aware of the October 11 SAT test date and students must rush test results to FIU in order for those to be considered in the scholarship competition.
