Seniors! Military Family Support Trust Scholarship DUE: 2/1/19!

Award: Eighteen 4-yr scholarships

 

-military eligibility: students parent, guardian, grand or great grandparent must meet criteria (see application eligibility section)

-3.0 unweighted GPA

-1000 on SAT or 21 on ACT

-must demonstrate superior leadership skills in school and/or community activities

-must possess moral and character attributes worthy of scholarship candidates

-official high school transcripts

-SAT and/or ACT score sheets

Recommendation letters: 1-3 from high school personnel

-letters of endorsements: at least one, from responsible community (non-school) persons

-signed copy of the first 2 pages of the parent’s/guardian’s latest Federal tax return

-parent/guardian statement of 300 words or less summarizing the family’s obligations & resources.  It should illustrate the applicant’s worthiness for consideration & should include a brief summary of the qualifying relative’s service history.

-400-600 word typed, single-spaced essay: his/her professional goal and relate how past, present, & future activities make the accomplishment of this goal probable

-principal signature on application

-FOLLOW directions CAREFULLY (all papers must be arranged in a specific order)

-must maintain a B average throughout the term of the scholarship, being re-certified annually for college attendance
