Carnegie Mellon Summer Pre-College Program

Jumpstart Your Future with Pre-College Summer Programs

Are you going to be a junior or senior in high school? If so, consider spending the summer in one of our six distinct Pre-College programs, from June 27-August 8, 2015. You can either explore architecture, art & design, drama, music or the National High School Game Academy to prepare yourself for study at the college level. Through our Advanced Placement/Early Admission program, you can take two challenging college courses in order to gain advanced placement and get a head start in college when you visit Carnegie Mellon.

Our Pre-College programs will show you what life at Carnegie Mellon is all about – from in the classroom to what’s happening on weekends. You’ll meet people from all over the world, be inspired by our world-renowned faculty, take part in the excitement of campus life and have the opportunity to explore the city of Pittsburgh.

Students must be in high school, have completed their sophomore year and be 16 to 18 years old (born between August 8, 1996 and June 27, 1999). This does not apply to commuters.

To get a better idea of what Pre-College is all about, check out our media page, featuring students and professors from past summers and “like” us on Facebook.
