Association of Women in Mathematics Essay Contest

The Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) Essay Contest on Biographies of Contemporary Women in Mathematics is open to all students in three categories: grades 6-8, grades 9-12, and college undergraduates.

Your essay must be primarily based on an interview with a woman currently working in a mathematical career and be approximately 500 to 1000 words in length.

The winning essays will be posted on the AWM web page and the grand prize winner will have his or her essay published in the AWM Newsletter.
